James began his career in the Grocery Industry and at Cal Mart in August of 1993. In August of 96 he moved to Washington where he spent 3 years with “Everybody’s a super-supermarket” at the Elma and Raymond, Washington respectively, where he spent his time in mid-Management and then upper Management.
James started back at Cal Mart in September of 1999 in the Produce Department. Coupled with his Produce responsibilities James took on a newly appointed position called CCL (Creating Customers for Life), focusing on customer service training, sourcing, public relations, and human resources. James coined, “Everything we do is important…stocking, checking, ordering, but nothing is more important than taking care of our customer”. This is part of the original top10 guidelines on our CCL list.
After several assistant management titles, James now serves as Cal Mart’s General Manager.
